With Halloween coming up, the members of the Office for Student Engagement are having a busy time setting up the "Fall Carnival" and "Trick or Treat with the Greeks." Student Engagement is partnering up with the Office of Multicultural and International Student Affairs, the Black Student Union and Recreational Sports and Wellness to host the university’s 13th annual "Fall Carnival" on Tuesday, Oct. 31. The event is scheduled to take place from 5-7 p.m. on the lawn of the Pennington Student Activity Center.
The event’s main focus will be on providing the children with a safe alternative to door-to-door trick-or-treating.
“This is our annual service effort,” said Coordinator of Multicultural and International Student Affairs Marjorie Parker in a press release. “Our goal is to provide all of the typical traditions of Halloween in a safe, carnival atmosphere.”
Though the program is targeted towards children in kindergarten to fourth grade, it is open to children of all ages. The carnival will include games, prizes, candy, spacewalks, a balloon artist and more.
