Once again, the Mane Dish and Dining Services will be spreading a bit of cheer during finals week by throwing the biannual Late Night Breakfast.
The event will be held in the same way as previous semesters. It will take place at the Mane Dish from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12.
There will be a variety of menu items for students to enjoy: pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, grits, hash brown casserole, biscuits and gravy, French Toast, omelets, fresh fruit and cheese.
Late Night Breakfast is mainly for the enjoyment of stressed out students and for the campus to wish them good luck.
“[Late Night Breakfast is] a ‘thank you’ to our student meal plan holders and as a way to wish students well on their exams,” said Marketing Director of Auxiliary Services Robin Parker.
Students are encouraged to attend the event because it gives them a chance to step away from the books. They can take a break from their studies and enjoy some time with friends. It will also be a good way for students to reenergize and return to exam preparation with new vigor.
“Late Night Breakfast allows students to take a break from their studies, mingle with friends and refuel as they prepare for exams,” said Parker. “This is a hugely successful event each semester. We are expecting another great turnout.”
The meal will be free for meal plan holders, but cost $6.75 plus tax for non-meal plan holders. While Buddy Passes will not be taken, Cub Cash and Lion’s Lagniappe will be accepted.
